Queen's Jubilee
Aycliffe Village is to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee with various activities in the village. We are seeking photographs and memorabilia that you may have from the Queen's Accession or Coronation for a display in the Village Hall.
Centenary of WW1
Do you live in the Great Aycliffe area? Do you have relatives who served in WW1 in any capacity? If so, we would love to hear from you. We intend to commemorate the start of WW1 in September 2014 and wish to display photographs, memorabilia and information of people involved in the war.
We are always looking for historical memorabilia, especially material to copy and to put onto the website. If you have anything you would like us to access, please contact using the email contact above, or telephone our chairman, Harry Moses, on 01325 321773, or bring them along to any member of the Society. |
